Function and form,Developes Mazda Rx-2 Coilover Suspension 32way adjustable
Submitted by function and form on Monday, December 29, 2008 - 16:17Rotary Engined Cars

I would like to first off introduce my self my name is Andrew Origel,Sale's Director for Function and form Autolife,we our a suspension manufacture based out if Alhambra California, we have many dealer's that carry our brand and provide suspension to various market's.The development of this particular application came about as a joke at first and soon turned into reality when realizing the extensive engineering that would have to be dedicated into these set's,this came about when a mutual buddy if mine was in need of some suspension for his turbo Rx-2 ,I myself use to be into rotaries so can relate so I decided to talk to the big boss and try it out,we soon realized there was no other company to produce a set unless it required you to cut your factory set something we didn't want to due so in order to produce this application a mold of the factory spindle and knuckle where produced after this process we then needed to figure out how to make the spindle part adjustable, after this process everything else was common enough for us to produce, after the prototype set was made we then needed a engineer to test the spindle since that holds the wheel, the engineer then tested the spindle under x-ray technology to test for stress cracks after the test everything was good but we then still heat-treated the spindle for insurance, these set's our 32 way adjustable dampening and height adjustable-these application's allow you to lower the car with out having to mess with any travel or pre-load of suspension.

MAZDA5 HYDROGEN RE HYBRID A FRESH APPROACH TO THE FUTURE OF ZOOM-ZOOM
Submitted by Berny on Monday, January 21, 2008 - 19:10Concepts | Mazda5 | Rotary Engined Cars

Thanks to its combination of Mazda’s trademark Zoom-Zoom performance and excellent environmental efficiency, the hydrogen rotary engine (Hydrogen RE) is one of the leading lights in Mazda's efforts to develop the power plant of the future.

To demonstrate the exceptional environmental performance of this engine that burns hydrogen to generate motive power and emits zero CO2, Mazda has been leasing the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE to corporations and local government bodies since 2006. In particular, the RX-8 Hydrogen RE not only offers clean performance, it also maintains a driving feel characteristic of a vehicle powered by a conventional gasoline internal combustion engine. With its dual-fuel system, the RX-8 Hydrogen RE can be switched between hydrogen and gasoline fuel at the touch of a button, and although it is an alternative fuel vehicle, it offers all the other acclaimed attributes of the base model RX-8, including its seating capacity for four adults.

Recent Champ Car competitors include Alex Tagliani, Andrew Ranger, Katherine Legge, and A.J. Allmendinger. 2006 Series champion Simon Pagenaud and runner-up Graham Rahal also join the Champ Car ranks this season. As you might or might not know, we maintain a little Store here at RotaryNews.com. Recently we've been stocking up on Mazda Rotary Models, these are very hard to come by, and some are not even available in the US.

In 1979, the a First Generation RX-7 won the GTU class and classified fifth overall at the Daytona 24 hrs; this models is made by Eebro and is in 1:43 scale as well. Mazda entered a large number of entries into the famous Le Mans du 24 hrs in France. Our store carries 1:43 models from 1983 717c by Bizarre, 1984 Lola L616 by Arnage , and of course, the 1991 Over All winner #55 787b by Ixo.
